COURSE DETAILS:
The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with minor and major dive emergencies using various techniques.
Knowledge development and rescue exercises teach you what to look for and how to respond.
Confined and open water sections deal with self-rescue, 10 rescue exercises, and two final scenarios.
During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Some topics covered in the PADI Rescue Diver course include self-rescue, identifying and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers, and rescuing unresponsive divers.Â
It's worth noting that you may be eligible to receive college credit for completing this course. Additionally, you must have completed EFR® Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months of enrolling in the rescue diver course. Fortunately, you can complete this training concurrently with the rescue diver course.Â
Enrolling in both the Rescue and the EFR course (Emergency First Response) comes with a free Care for Children upgrade ($55USD value) included in the costs.Â
Lastly, you must complete an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) before certification. This plan outlines how to safely seek help in the diving environment where you'll be operating.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
PADI Adventure Divers who are at least 12 years old and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive may enroll in a Rescue Diver course. You must also have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course.

High-Quality Equipment & Facilities
Scuba diving equipment allows you to visit the underwater world by making it possible to breathe, see, and move comfortably while below the surface. It is important that all our equipment including our compressors are fully maintained and regularly checked for both your comfort and your safety. We want to make sure that you are fully comfortable and confident with our equipment. To help, we offer opportunities to practice in our on-site pool, or we provide refresher classes for experienced divers who haven't been in the ocean for a while.
Environmental Responsibility
At our center, we take this responsibility seriously. We are proud members of Green Finns and PADI Aware ambassadors. In addition, we collaborate with the Saving Our Sharks Foundation and run our own Ambassadors Del Mar initiative. This initiative is focused on providing children and fishermen on the island with the opportunity to learn about conservation and diving.
