The PADI IDC Staff Instructor Course is designed for experienced dive professionals who want to expand their teaching abilities, assist on PADI Instructor Development Courses (IDC), and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of dive educators.

Course Structure

• Distance learning: 4 days, 4 hrs/day. You’ll receive this training via video conferences conducted by our Course Directors before the start of the IDC you’ll be auditing.

• Practical Assessment: 3 days. You’ll begin applying what you’ve learned during the distance learning phase. This portion of the course takes place just before the practical part of the IDC begins.

• Auditing a full IDC: Once you’ve completed your preparation, you’ll audit a full IDC, refining your mentorship skills while working closely alongside our Course Directors. You can consult our IDC calendar to view the available dates.

• Instructor Development Skills: Learn to assist PADI Course Directors in delivering the IDC program, including evaluating instructor candidates and providing structured feedback.
