The PADI Master Freediver course is designed for advanced freedivers looking to refine their skills and approach elite levels. Through focused sessions, you'll enhance your static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion, and constant weight techniques.
About the Course
For advanced freedivers aiming to reach elite levels, the PADI Master Freediver course is designed for you. In this course, you will enhance your skills in static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion, and constant weight diving.
This comprehensive course will help you fine-tune your lifestyle and training, allowing you to take your freediving to the next level.
The PADI Master Freediver course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge Development: Learn about nutrition, relaxation techniques, and advanced breathing methods. Study independently through the PADI Freediver eLearning platform, or participate in classroom sessions if eLearning isn't available in your language. You’ll also complete an independent research project as part of the Master Freediver Assignment.
Confined Water Sessions: Focus on improving static and dynamic apnea skills, including no-fins dynamic apnea. Goals: Static apnea time of 3 minutes 30 seconds and dynamic apnea distance of 70 meters (230 feet).
Open Water Sessions: Practice mouth-fill equalisation and perform warm-up and work-up dives in free immersion and constant weight disciplines. Goal: Constant weight dive to 32 meters (105 feet).

Important Medical Information for Freediving and Mermaid Students
Freediving requires a certain level of health and physical fitness. If you have chronic medical conditions, are taking specific medications, or have recently undergone surgery, you may need written clearance from a physician before participating in any diving activities.
Please download and review the Diver Medical form before enrolling in a freediving or mermaid course to determine whether you'll need medical approval.
Please note: Instructors, Divemasters, and dive shop staff are not qualified to provide medical advice—only licensed medical professionals can assess your fitness for diving and provide medical clearance if necessary.
