COURSE DETAILS:
The Emergency First Response (EFR) training aims to equip lay rescuers with confidence and the ability to respond to medical emergencies. Participants are taught simple-to-follow steps for emergency care and are provided with a no-stress learning environment to practice applying their skills. CPR and first aid training requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver course and all professional-level ratings can be met by taking EFR courses. Most PADI Instructors are also EFR instructors. The EFR courses are based on internationally recognized medical guidelines for emergency care.
There are several EFR courses available:
Primary Care (CPR) – This course teaches life-saving techniques for handling emergencies. You'll learn eight skills for aiding patients with breathing problems, heart issues, spinal injuries, shock, or severe bleeding. The course also covers CPR and patient monitoring until emergency medical services arrive.
Secondary Care (First Aid) – Learn how to provide first aid for injuries and illnesses to ease pain and reduce the risk of further harm while waiting for medical services. Assess injuries and practice bandaging and splinting.
Care for Children – This course teaches how to provide emergency care to infants and children. Ideal for those who work with children or may need to respond to emergencies involving kids. Often combined with CPR and First Aid training.
CPR & AED – Learn CPR and how to use an AED with our course. Meets workplace and government requirements and can be integrated into First Aid at Work programs.
First Aid at Work – Some countries require more extensive CPR and first aid training for workplaces, which includes additional topics and skills in First Aid at Work programs. These programs follow the easy-to-learn EFR approach to training.
EFR Refresher – Refresh your CPR and first aid skills every 24 months with the EFR Refresher course. Stay up-to-date and ready to help when needed.

Online training makes it easy to fit a CPR and first aid course into a busy schedule. Watch videos of different first aid techniques and learn what steps to take in an emergency. Study online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor if you have questions.

High-Quality Equipment & Facilities
Scuba diving equipment allows you to visit the underwater world by making it possible to breathe, see, and move comfortably while below the surface. It is important that all our equipment including our compressors are fully maintained and regularly checked for both your comfort and your safety. We want to make sure that you are fully comfortable and confident with our equipment. To help, we offer opportunities to practice in our on-site pool, or we provide refresher classes for experienced divers who haven't been in the ocean for a while.

In addition, we collaborate with the Saving Our Sharks Foundation and run our own Ambassadors Del Mar initiative. This initiative is focused on providing children and fishermen on the island with the opportunity to learn about conservation and diving.
