TEMAZCAL CEROMONY

ABOUT
The Temazcal is a "steam house" of pre-Hispanic origin. The moist heat, medicinal herbs, and fire from the volcanic stones in the dark offer healing effects on the body - including the elimination of toxins, the balance of blood circulation, the purification of the digestive system, the mobility of the muscles, the purification of the airways and skin toning.
The experience takes place in a small stone hut which can house 15-20 people. Upon entry - herbal-infused water is dispersed among burning volcanic rocks to produce a steam bath effect.
SPECIFICATIONS AND INCLUSIONS
The Temazcal experience lasts between 2-3 hours in total. It is important to make sure you are well-hydrated before and after this experience.
You will be provided with fruit and water at the ceremony.
Please wear swimwear and bring a towel and change of clothing
